Akaroa - New Zealand :: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 - 06:36 AM (GMT)

New Zealand

Located just outside Christchurch is Akaroa and was first settled by the French in 1840, the town still retains it French feel and atmosphere.
On the way there, the snow was trying to fall and driving was a little hard at times, especially in our little van.

Our campsite was perched on top of a hill overlooking the town and its harbour and we had a great view.
