Christchurch is the South Island's major city and is a lively place with a distinctly British feel to it.
It's flat, green and leafy and is arguably the country's most beautiful city, full of parks and the Avon River.
Cathredal Square is the hub of the city with 'The Chalice' and cathredal as it's focal point.
It was now time to say goodbye to our little van and hand it back over to Kiwi Kombis. We had a great time in the van and it was tough giving it back!
Christchurch is also home to Richard, who we met on Beachcomber Island in Fiji. That weekend was his friends stag do, which Lee got invited to. It turned out to be a very messy 15 hour drinking session, which took Lee 2 days to recover from!
Richard also took us out to Lyttleton Harbour and around the Port Hills, which was great. He owns a weighbridge at the harbour, so Lee got weighed on that - 60Kg of pure muscle!
Enjoy the piccies...
