USA

Apparently, if you're driving down Route 66 into Amarillo, a visit to the Big Texan is a must. So we did!

The 'Big Texan' is home to world famous 'free' 72oz steak. It's free, so long as you can it, as well as a baked potato, salad and shrimp cocktail within an hour. Oh, and everyone in the restaurant watches while you eat.

We stayed in the motel, which is designed as a Wild West main street. It also has a Texas state shaped pool, which was very wet!

During the evening and all through the night was a fierce thunderstorm, which we sat out and watched for a while. Fork lightning, like you've never seen before!

Take a look at steak!!!
