From Las Vegas, we went to Hoover Dam. You can't imagine that 70 years ago it was built and it was completed a year ahead of schedule!
It was and still is one of the greatest engineering projects in the world.
It's 700 feet from the foundation at the bottom, to the road on the crest of the dam. That's some drop!
