Whale watching season is officially over on the 1st of November, but we'd heard that there was still a good chance of a sighting. We were up early and out on the boat to see if we could spot some.
After about 30 minutes, the captain stopped the boat and just in front of us were a mother and her calf. Our first sighting!
From then on, our eyes were never off the water and we spotted a group of 3 young whales playing.
They're very difficult to photograph but we did manage to get a couple.
After the trip, we then backtracked down to Noosa to see Julie's auntie Frieda. We all went out for a lovely meal in Noosa and was great to see Frieda and Larry.
